Relational trust and the activation gap

Most people who stall on adopting a new tool aren’t missing a tutorial. They’re missing a reason to trust the thing enough to hand it something that matters. That’s the activation gap: the space between “I understand how this works” and “I’m willing to let this touch my real work.”

Closing it looks less like a feature and more like a relationship — a few honest, low-stakes rounds where the tool proves it won’t waste your time or misrepresent what it did.
