The Buddha’s raft simile is usually told as a lesson about letting go of the teaching once it’s done its work. Less discussed is what it takes to build a raft that’s actually seaworthy before anyone gets on it.
An app that offers teachings on suffering has to be right about the parts that matter most — attribution, tone, what it says to someone in real distress — before it’s right about anything else. Pausing until teachers can confirm those parts isn’t a delay in the plan. It is the plan.
